About Ryan Wright
I have been photographing landscapes for almost a decade now, and through photography I have been blessed to capture some of the most gorgeous locations in North America. Originally, I wanted to be an action sports photographer because skiing was my primary passion at that time. During the summers when I wouldn't be skiing, I would go hiking and bring my film SLR with me to try my hand at photographing landscapes. Through many years of trial and error I have taught myself everything from how to operate a camera on manual settings to how to best use techniques/equipment to yield the best results. It has been a pretty wild journey so far!
Until recently, I had never given thought to pursuing photography as a profession. I have had photography "jobs" before, such as one summer I spent working as a whitewater rafting photographer, and though I was technically a professional then I knew that I was not. As doors began to open for me in the world of photography, I have now considered making photography my profession for many months. I'm very much still learning as I go, and I hope that continues for the rest of my life. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you have enjoyed my photography. God bless!
